SAT Essay. Should I Respond to quote?

<p>In in essay should I respond to the quote? Should I embed part of the quote in my response? Should I ignore the quotes existence? It seems strange because the essay isn't about the quote at all actually, and yet their there. This also seems different than the AP tests where we had to actually interact with the quotes and use them in our writing.</p>

<p>Yea lol. And the quote themselves seem pretty irrelevant to me. I didn’t refer or use it on my essay and got an 11.</p>
