What did everyone get on their SAT essay?

In March I got a 10. In June I got an 11.

I only know one girl in my school who got a 12.

How did everyone else do?

I got 10 in May.

I got a 12 on the March and June tests

I got a 9 in June

10 in May.

I beat you all with my...7 (in May)...wth? How did I get a 7?...
I think College Board ripped me off. People with 1500s (new) get 8s, and I have a 2280 (with the 7 bringing me down 60 pts)...

O well. I am retaking it in October anyways.

It brought you down 60 points? Ouch. I got an 8, in March, (which I almost had rescored, but then didn't bother with), and it brought me down 40 (80 on the multiple choice subscore, which I assume you had too?).

You assumed correctly, CremeDeLaMe. I had 1 wrong/0 omit on the MC, giving me an 80 MC subscore. The 7 for the essay brought me down to 740.

Maybe I should have it rescored. Has anybody tried this with any success?

I got a 10 in March and an 8 in June. The 8 in June really surprised me. Now that I've read over my essay I can kind of see where that score is coming from - I don't think I tied my second paragraph into my thesis well enough - but then I'll read other people's essays (who scored a 10, 11 or 12) and not understand why the graders saw fit to give me a "4."

I got 8 on my essay :( :(. I hate writting essays.

Btw that was in MAY.
