Hi,
i'm right now in the 12th grade in India and i'm gonna be doin my SAT this october. I qualify for the fee waiver program coz i'm an american citizen and my income levels match with what's given on the fee waiver guide. The only problem is..... I don't know how to and where to register for the fee waivers. what documents should i be giving my school and to whom should they give my documents to, in order to procure a fee waiver?
Help anyone?
Thx.

I’m pretty sure you need to ask your guidance counselor for the waiver. I believe that each school receives a limited number of waivers each year…at least that’s how it’s done in the US! Perhaps if you post on the SAT or India forums, you’ll get more specific advice.

If you are attending an International School that follows the US curriculum, someone on the staff should be familiar with this process. If no one there can help you, you should get in touch with the local office of EducationUSA. The website will be very informative for you [EducationUSA | Study Abroad, Student Visa, University Fairs, College Applications and Study in the U.S. / America](http://www.educationusa.state.gov/) about the entire college application process, so you should read through it. In India the cooperating organization is the US-India Education Foundation. There are seven branch offices throughout the country. [EducationUSA - Find an Advising Center](India | EducationUSA) Contact the advising center closest to where you live. If you can’t visit in person, the counselors should be able to help you by telephone or email.

Wishing you all the best!
