What is the best way to prepare for the grammar on the SAT?

I also want to know it.

maybe me too. not sure if i want to retake my 680.

The curve was much more brutal than expected...I missed 6 & only got a 66 grammar score.

I went through the ID Sentence Error stuff in the CB SAT book in the week before the March and June SAT and got 80 on the grammar section each time. The best advice I can give would be just to familiarize yourself with the common types of errors, and keep these things in mind when you're taking the test. Also, I think a lot of people get caught up in either "too many" No Errors or "not enough." If a sentence sounds (when you read it in your head) fine, and you can see no problem with subject-verb agreement, etc., then it's probably fine, so don't spend too much time looking for an error that doesn't exist.

There are only a couple of errors that are really tested on the SAT...most prepbooks i've seen lay them out pretty well....try there

Thanks for the advice. I think I will just go through the Collegeboard SAT book and look for patterns/familiarize myself with the errors.

I know grammar well, and I find that it is true that knowing too many errors can actually be hindering to taking the test. Since the SAT is afterall a standardized test, it will probably only test a few repetitive errors. So yeah, gonna go look through the collegeboard book.
