ok i am taking my sat next week the first time i took it i had a 370 on math and 320 on reading but i had never seen the sat before it haha i did not prepare or anything and to get into the college i have to get a 800 i have been studying more then the first time but mainly the reading i took a couple practice test and got around a 400 do you think its possible for me to increase my score 110 points thanks i apreaciate it.

It’s certainly possible. It takes an average person who studies hard to raise an average of 100-200 points every month or so. But getting a 800 score, a perfect score, from the 300s is very very VERY difficult to do.

If it’s your lack of preparation for the SAT, you might have a better chance to increase your score from 300s to 400s or even the low 500s.

Take practice tests, read challenging books, memorize some vocab words… If you have only 1 week to prepare, assuming your 300 scores were just recently, you need to study hard to raise a substantial number of points.

I think ANYONE is capable of a 1500, so don’t worry about it man!

I think your best thing to do would to go to class. It will really help you understand the test better and will get you more familiar with how to answer common types of questions pretty easily. Of course, I’m not saying to take 10K private tutors, but just a class like Kaplan or something.

However, if you do feel that you can do it by yourself, then by all means do it!
