Hey so I took the exam once so far and scored a 1900 on the dot. I plan on retaking it this upcoming year and I really would like to score above a 2200+. Throughout HS I've taken all AP courses including AP English and advanced mathematics (until AP Calc). I had an A all year long in AP English but I fail on the critical reading section. However, I can only Pull a 600 in CR and a 650 in math. Surprisingly my best score is in writing - a whopping 670. I'm looking for some advice to pull my these scores all up. All advice including books to buy, strategies to approach questions, etc. would be helpful. I'm willing to work as hard as possible, study as longgggg as necessary! I am determined to score well on this test =)! Thanks in advance!

**I took a princeton review classroom course for prep, raising my score up to a 1900. For Vocab i used TestTaker Vocab cards.

Sorry if I come off as harsh at times in advance =]:

First of all let me disabuse you of the notion that taking AP courses and achieving
high grades in those classes will guarantee you a high SAT score. It simply isn’t true
and sadly many people believe it does. Though there are people for whom it does hold
true, unfortunately, in your case, it seems as if it doesn’t =[.

Now, as for the Princeton Review course you have taken, I took the same course the summer of last year. Let me tell you this: it was a waste of my parents’ money save for the simulated SAT exams that are given. All the course does is regurgitate information
from the Prep book and have you do practice from the book that you could easily do
yourself at home.

From here on out, I shall give you, what is in my opinion, a decent way to prepare [there may be better ways than mine but this is the route I went and it worked fairly well for me].

Critical Reading:

Without a doubt, one of the more difficult sections of the SAT as there
is little factual studying or rote memorizing involved here. Though it might sound clich
