Hey this is my first forum post so I don't really know what I'm doing, but I will try anyways.

So I took the SAT I and some SAT IIs and got good scores but I don't know how good.

For SAT I, I took it in November and got a 2280 (800 CR, 770 Math, 710 Writing), took it in March and got a 2190 (760 CR, 730 Math, 700 Writing), and a 2400 in June. Does the fact that I took the test so many times in anyway diminish the score that I got? Am I allowed to just send in the June scores?

I have taken 5 SAT IIs: Chemistry, Biology, U.S. History, Physics, and Math II. I got a 700 in Chem, an 800 in Bio, an 800 in U.S., an 800 in Physics, and a 740 in Math II. I later retook the Math II and got an 800. Again, does retaking the Math II diminish the 800 there? And are these Subject Tests too science oriented. Would it be wise to take another test in Literature or Spanish? Especially since my school doesn't offer a fourth year of foreign language?

Thanks to anyone who responds to this post. It does a lot to alleviate my stress.

First of all… Wow. 2400 is a score that is tough to diminish.
I would say that you are fine - a 2400 is a perfect score, no matter how you look at it, and colleges will be just as amazed as I am. The fact that you got it in 3 tries is also a very good thing. You see, most colleges recommend that students not take the test more than 3 times, because after 3 tries it looks like you are just trying to get a lucky hit and high score. Anyways, again, since you got the perfect score within 3 tries, almost all colleges will respect that completely.

Now for the SAT 2. Yes, your subject tests are science oriented. However, that is a good thing. Most colleges only require you to submit two scores. You have 4 perfect scores right here, all in varied fields. Depending on the college in choice, you can pick and choose what you want to submit, to change how you want to be viewed as an applicant. For MIT you could send in your STEM tests. Maybe for UChicago, some history and some math.

I believe that, like the regular SAT math, taking the SAT 2 Math II test more than once is fine. However, since this test is considerably less used than the former stated, I can’t really come to any real conclusion about that…
