SAT I Discussion

oops...totally forgot about the ., so your safe

JB12790----I also had experimental math, I'm trying to figure out which was experimental....I had 2 20 question sections. one with the 1st answer 4 (70000)

Hmmm, what were the numbers in the sets? I think i put 4/9 =(

sorry, 5/9 was the answre

GoSixers did you have math experimental? with the 4 for 70000 as an answer?

yes, i did

Are we sure the a%b= ab+a+b was both I and II? For some reason, I got only I would work...I think this is the only one I might have missed?

Also is it cynical or snobbish? I put snobbish, but changed it to cynical cuz it was asking how he was characterized, which would be cynical, but the writer said he was elite, which would be snobbish. The wording made it sound like it wasn't snobbish, because it wasn't referring to elite part...IDK dumb question...

II worked for me and I double checked it.

GoSixers - so which section was the experimental?

the section with the 7.0^x question

How do you know that? because this question was a%b= ab+a+b on that same section. and everyone had that question.

The answer is snobbishness. I think there is a general concensus about the answer being snobbishness. I don't see whyn this is problematic.

I gpt I and II for the ab+a+b one too. It was a doable question, but I ran out of time, so I don't know if the third one works or not.

i hate the math sections of the SAT, i'm forced to do each section twice just because collegeboard makes the directions of each question so tricky and it's so easy to make stupid mistakes.

This is to the MODS: For the sake of convenience, could we consolidate all the SAT I threads? I'm getting a bit tired going back and forth between them all to check answers. Thanks! =D

seth blue- what was the 1st ques. for that section? WITH ab+a+b

anyone remember what the II was for that question?

no, it was the last. It was the one with the weird symbols.

Me too, #18. Holy crap, that scared me because I thought I read the question wrong.

I don't remember.
