Since I dont have much time left now, I am not sure if I should study more for the SAT I or the subject tests. Which one do college admission offices think is more important?

i would go for SAT I because not every college requires SAT IIs but every college requires either SAT I or ACT

Not every college requires SAT or ACT.

ABC News: 27 Top Colleges Don't Require the SAT or ACT

Does a UC require SAT 2

well i would appreciate a little more info so i could answer that question more properly.

for example, let's say your SAT IIs are Math II and Literature. It would make sense to study for those SAT IIs since they are just higher level versions of the SAT I and the practice will "trickle down" and help your SAT I score as well.

On the other hand, if you are taking Chem and World History...well...then it boils down to what you want to do better on. Also what scores you are getting in each test/section.

Also, obviously you're not taking the SAT I and SAT II on the same day, so whichever one is first...right? Besides, SAT II is more content knowledge, so it would make more sense to study that closer to test day
