SAT II, are they THAT important?

<p>I'm looking to go to one of the better SUNY schools, are the SAT IIs important enough that i must take some before applying? So far I've taken none...</p>

<p>I don't know about SUNY, but if you want to beef up your resume, I would say take them. Caveat, though, is that you should really only take them if you know you're going to do very well on them- at least that's my experience.</p>

<p>Do SUNYs require or recommend them? If not, you don't have to take them. If they do require them, you have to take them. If they recommend them, it may be a good idea, but not necessary.</p>
