SAT II: Bio, Literature, and US History--November Test

Does anybody have any advice how to prep for these? I do have a prep book for the biology test, but what do you suggest for the literature? I have AP US History right now, but like most typical high schools, we never got past the middle of WWII in normal US History. Should I just spend a whole day reading up from the civil war and on? What should I focus on? What periods and events? I don't know anything about the Cold War except what I saw in 13 Days. I don't know anything about post-WWII except what i have seen in movies; that is the best info I can give you. Please help. Thanks.

Anybody know what is the best preparation for the US History test? I need to know what I should look at for the test.

Hi! I took the US History SAT II in June and scored a 780. I read the Kaplan book. I also had a really great US History teacher and my class studied up to Reagan. Try the Kaplan book.

Hmm, I tried the Kaplan book and it screwed me over big time. I guess it depends on your what your USHis teacher covered or something.

I'm taking those three also. I'm rather nervous as well.

Well I had a really good US History teacher, but I think the book still helped me.

How are you studying for Lit?

nods I used (am using rather) the Kaplans book too. It covers a lot and seems pretty useful but I do warn you that it makes for pretty boring reading ;)

Kaplan for bio.

and by the way, I think Kaplan was the best thing I could have ever studied for lit.
