ya im pretty sure the answer is carbon cause on a test i took in biocehmsitry we had the list the 4 most abundant elementsin the human body the answers were oxygen, carbon, hydrogen and nitrogen but since Oz wasnt a choice carbon was the correct answer

yea…i feel like i did really badly as well…i think i might re-take it in october with math II. Hopefully, I will get a better score…and the questions won’t be soo random.

god i pray that the answer IS carbon. even my bio teacher, who has a ph d in biology, never mentioned anything about oxygen.

Yeah, there was this relativity question about observing a rocket from Earth and something.

Length of time and length of rocket? Also, what made a star look lower from the horizon from Earth or something like htat.

^Sorry, I thought this was the Physics thread. If a mod sees that post, please delete it.

oxygen is most of the dry weight
ur body is mostly water
0xygen is 16/18 of water
common sense

nvm it cud be carbon
damn i hate my lifee

I’m pretty sure it’s Carbon.

nahh it is
i feel so dumb
trust me
ap bio makes the sat 2 in bio a nightmare

I took it with AP Bio too. I didn’t think it was terrible.

nah
me either
its just that
when u take ap bio
u forget all the super baby
8th grade bio details

I thought some of it was weird… and i think the curve’s going to be bad too cuz this test apparently was the one from june two years ago and college board uses the same scoring charts for the same tests. and this test had a VERY VERY VERY bad curve. sigh… or hopefully, collegeboard doesn’t use the same curve. hopefully

hahah after seeing some of these questions i’m SO glad i went with E.
my biology class was awful, i learned 80% of this stuff from the sparknotes review book.

as for the cyanide one, i said the cyanide plants would continue to grow in areas were there wasn’t frost. in frosty areas, natural selection would kill off the cyanide plants, and in non-frosty areas, natural selection would kill off the non-cyanide plants because they would be eaten by cows. that one seemed pretty obvious to me…which of course probably means i’m wrong about it.

wait really? was the curve for june07 that bad?? but also… they couldnt possibly have used the EXACT SAME TEST. proof: one of the questions was on the kingdoms and classification. back in 07, monera was still classified as a separate kingdom subdivided into archeae and bacteria but on this test, the more recent classification system was used and archeae and bactera and eukarya were the kingdoms… so… maybe some other questions differed a bit … just no one noticed cus no one possibly remembers june07 test perfectly… so… IM HOPING THE CURVE WILL BE NOT AS BAD lol.

i’m aiming for a 800 so a bad curve will really hurt my chances seeing as i skipped one and know i got another wrong.

i know me too. I’m scared. everyone from this test two ears ago complained about how bad the curve was and the questions weren’t even that easy… and i was aiming for at least a 780. -_-

well in 1998 (most of you probably won’t remember) the curve was great, you could get like 10 wrong and get 800s lol

back in the day everything was great

does anyone know what my score range would be if i got 6 wrong and left 5 blank? ugh. i was aiming for 750+ but i don’t think that’s gonna happen =/

The Bio curve’s really bad, so I’d expect like a high 600-low 700. I could be wrong though, so don’t take my word for it.

Can someone please explain to me why the curve is always so much better for the molecular exam than for the ecological?
