SAT II Chemistry and Math IIc worried... how should i prepare

Hey guys,

I have been preparing for SAT II tests, Chem and Math II for about a month.

So far I have taken like 8 practice test for each subjects.

But, I am still only gettting low-mid 700's. I am currently using Barrons.

What worries me is that, I just know how to answer the question because I am so familiar with the question types from Barrons.

Is the real test similar to Barrons practice test?
So if I am getting 740-760 on Barrons Chem, would I get similar test for the Real SAT II Chem?

And for Math, I heard that Barrons is harder than the real one. So do I have a chance of getting 800 on the real test if am scoring between 700-750 on Barrons?

Only a week left for SATs. Good luck to those who are taking it next weekend.

Doing same for January tests.
Barrons is harder, I think.
But definitely do practice from blue book, they are about as real ones

Yes, I guess I should try the tests from blue book. But, I think I heard that blue books are kind of easier than actual tests?

Anyways I guess I gotta try some from the book. 7days?till test day..ahaa

i've never used barrons, but from reading around the site i've gathered that it is much harder for math ii and chem than the real thing, so i think you're in very good shape, probably high 700s on both (maybe 800 on chem?) however, definitely keep studying since i could be completely wrong :)

A 700-750 on Barron's for Math II will probably result in an 800 on the actual test, but just to be safe, take one or two from the blue book or from any other book (maybe Princeton Review or Sparknotes) just to be able to get the feel of what the actual problems are like.
