SAT II Chemistry Curve

I just finished the Kaplan SAT II Chem practice test and ended up with
-8 and 4 blanks.
This would be -14 all together, and gives me a 71 for a raw score.

So, I check the conversion table to find that that is a 770?
That seems really lenient to me,

How is the real test?

According to the Collegeboard book, a 71 raw score would be a 740.

^ The collegboard book, I found, has very harsh curves.

For example, I scored a 730 on the book, but an 800 on the real thing... ;)

thats a relief. Im aiming for maybe 780.

Well if you are getting 770ish on Kaplan you are looking good. I usually only got like 730 on Kaplan :(

lolcats4 i scored 760 in the book...is that good?

Yeah should be. I mean, I didn't score that well and I got an 800 on the real thing.

did u take the practice test once and just look over your mistakes? was it the LAST test you took before the real deal?

Yeah the Kaplan tests were the LAST tests I took (started with PR, then SN, then CB, then Kaplan).

I took all of them except one I think...got an average of about 730-740

I just took the chem practice for the first time (a little late, i know). I took the barron's test and got 56 raw which is 730. I don't know how harsh of a curve barron's is, what do you guys think i'll get on the real one?

Doesn't it seem weird though? All the Real CB SAT subject test seem just WAY too easy, and all have harsh curves. Even the physics test was a joke in the CB book (physics being supposedly the hardest subject test)

Just a last minute thing, but if I only took Chemistry last year, then what do you guys suggest to be the most important concepts to study in the PR book before Saturday's test?

Thanks!

BTW, you guys say the CB is easier? I only got a 700 on the CB Book...is that going to kill me on the real test?

No, I thought the CB test was harder to get a better score on.

^ I agree with lolcats4... i actually got the lowest in the CB book

Thanks, that's good to hear!

Funny, because my lowest score was definitely from Barron's... And this comment comes from a person who just got raped by Barron's chemistry practice test...

Does anyone here have the CollegeBoard Study Guide for all SAT Subject Tests book? If so, please let me know. I have a question about the conversion charts for a few subjects. Thanks in advance to all :)
