SAT II Chemistry Score

Last year I received a 770 in the Chemistry Subject Test while taking a Chemistry Honors course (Non AP). Should I retake? Is this an adequate score for competitive schools?

My only concern is that is said I was in the 85th percentile.

Any responses? Please.

^ Percentile don’t matter for SAT 2’s

Anything 750 or higher is competitive.

700 or higher is qualied or pretty competitive

650 or higher is respectable.

To expand on shaheiruddin’s point…

Most of the people taking SAT Subject Tests are competitive students.
By being 85% percentile, its saying that you are in the top 15% of a group of already “good” students.

Percentiles do matter. Anyhow, 770 is a solid score and does not warrant retaking.
