SAT II Chemistry

Hey Everyone,

I'm taking regular chem at my school (there isn't honors and I'm too lazy to do AP). The teacher is horrible and we're not learning much. If I self-study from the Barrons AP Chemistry book (because I hear it has pretty much everything), do you think I could manage a 700+ on the SAT II?

I really want to do well in Chemistry, since I did horribly on my SAT II Bio (620) and I don't want to retake it, ha. But I do feel that I am better in Chem than Biology because I like the math part, which is a big part. Plain memorization (bio) bores me.

Anyways, advice and suggestions would be very appreciated :) Thanks in advance!

I'd say you can self-study SAT II Chemistry. I have Barrons too, but I don't get much from it only because I am studying for AP Chem anyway. Since SAT II Chem contains only MC's, knowing all the basics from Barron's and taking some practice tests can get you to 700+. Good LUCK! I am taking it on May!

memorize everything in the PR book, and you'll get at least a 750 depending on the test.

what is MC?

thanks

multiple choice=MC
