Do we have to know solubilities of various compounds? Also, polyatomic ions and their charges? How much information does Barron's give that is not even tested on the exam? How accurate are their tests? What is the true curve of the Chem. SAT II exam?

If anyone else has any questions on this exam, post them here.

I got a couple of questions (~5) wrong and got a 790 if I recall correctly (I took it this June). Yes, it'd be wise to learn the polyatomic ions. I used Kaplan for the test, so I can't comment on Barron's.

I took the SAT II Chemistry a very long time ago. However, I remember that the Barron's practice tests were the most accurate. They include a lot of information that is entirely unnecessary, so maybe consider studying from a different guide - but take their practice tests.

i'd recommend taking the test after taking AP chem. i owned both 800/5....if u have any questions feel free, i'd be glad to help. I think the curve is fairly generous for the test...say -15 would still be above 700 for sure. But then again its 85 questions...

I'm taking the SAT II Chem in dec. I'm only taking AP Chem now. I just took a practice test today and i only got a 500. I don't know anything. I'm gonna have a lot of studdying to do.
