SAT II Dilemma: IIc vs. Mandarin

Hey everyone, I'm pretty sure most colleges require you to send in two SAT II scores, so I'm wondering if it would be a bad idea to send in Chinese with Listening (740) over Math IIc (620). The one I'm definitely sending in is U.S. History (720).

The thing is, I'm Chinese, so would it have a negative impact on the adcoms decision if they see the subject test for Chinese on my transcript (and considering I already have 60 points off...)?

Then again, my Math IIc score is terrible.

Suggestions?

Actually, all three will be on your score report, unless you're younger than the class of 2010. So you really don't have a choice in the matter. And no, your Math 2 score is not horrible. And also, most colleges don't care if you have SAT IIs or not. Only the top schools require them. Chances are, your match schools will say something like "Considered if submitted," and your safety schools may not even have a policy on SAT IIs. Colleges in the Midwest, especially, will not deny you admission because you had a bad day. Have a great summer!

Thanks so much! I'm actually applying to schools like BC and Colgate, so I'm just a little worried.
