When I applied early action I had only taken two SAT subject tests (Math- 800, Physics- 680). I signed up to take the us history subject test in december, knowing Georgetown highly recommends 3 for regular decision. However, I had to cancel because I knew I was that my scores would not be in the range of Georgetowns standards. So now I only have two subject tests.

If I am deferred after early action is there any chance i can be accepted during regular decision with only two SATIIs?

"I haven’t taken the SAT Subject Tests yet. Can I still apply Early Action?

Absolutely. If you are a senior and have not yet taken three SAT Subject Tests you may still apply Early Action and your application will receive full consideration. We do recommend that you register for these exams in the event that your application is deferred to Regular Decision."

I think however that you should sign up for a third SAT subject test just in case you get deferred. I’m pretty sure 3 SAT subject tests are required for regular decision, so without them, you would not be accepted. Just take the test, you don’t want to get denied based on an incomplete application! good luck!
