Any 3 SAT IIs (I'm not positive they haven't reduced it to 2 with the New SAT...) are fine, unless you're entering the engineering school, in which case I believe they recommend one of the Math SAT IIs and either physics or chem. Somewhere on P'ton's website I saw that they will look at any additional SAT II scores. I certainly don't know whether that means you will be somehow disadvantaged if you have 3 great scores and 1 or 2 not so great scores, or if additional high sores will only help you...

according to the princeton website you can submit any three SAT scores, and a friend of mine got in submitting writing, literature, and another one (US history i think). however, when i went there as a junior (so long ago!) for a tour, our tour guide/admissions officer heavily hinted at submitting a writing and math score. ::shrug::

I would definately recommend taking one of the maths, preferably math IIC. What does the new SAT go up to again...Algebra II? And I think math IIC goes into precalc? I think...but anyway, take IIC because it will have a nice bearing on your app. I would say writing, but it's already in the new SAT. Otherwise, just do whatever you want.
