i already signed up for math ic and literature for jan. 22, but i was thinking of switching to math iic after i read the sat II literature boards at cc. people here say it is impossible. do i have a better chance at getting an 800 at lit. or math iic. your input would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

You have a better chance at the 800 math iic (the curve is great). But if you are horrible at math, then an 800 will not be realistic :p.

depends what you're good at :)

lit isn't that hard. and if you're taking math ic there's no point taking math iic on the same day. colleges want to see that you're good at more than one thing.

nobody, I repeat, nobody gets a 800 on the sat II lit (something like .05%)...only 6% of testtakers got a 750+...well I did horribly on the math iic and got a 760 on the lit...so it really depends on how good you are at reading versus math...

i mean, im pretty good at math, but i don't know about interpreting lit. i get a's in my honors classes but i dont know if that translates into a 750+ or 800 score on the lit. is the math iic really that different than the math ic. its probably just harder.
and something on the lit. how many can you miss to get an 800 on the list safiamike.

I couldn't find my 22 Reals, but I think its about 2 or 3...my 760 was from missing six I think...

how many can you miss on the math iic to get an 800. plus, i haven't completed precalc but i reviewed the sparknotes math ic book, and i know it very well. i think their math ic and iic books are about the same.
is it also true that i can substitute tests that i registered for another test e.g. sat ii lit to sat ii math iic without signing up for it.

bump please. i really need an answer.

bump again

yes, you can change them...I did that exact thing...good luck.

Yes, you can change your SAT subject tests on the test day. Here is the info:

how hard is the math 2c test? is it much different from the 2c test in the real sat 2 book that collegeboard makes?
