Why even take it? Are you fantastic at reading? Go to Collegeboard and read the description of SAT Literature. It’s really, really hard and even for people who are good at reading (There is a correlation), it’s difficult. In addition, colleges can see that you are great at English if you get a good score on the SAT Critical Reading.

I doubt colleges would be as familiar with the level of difficulty and curves on the SAT subject tests are we are and I don’t think they could tell the difference, but I could easily be wrong on that.

There is a big difference lolcats, but the skill set is the same and bsd should only take it if he/she is really good at English and because SAT Literature is really hard.

actually, I’m pretty sure any college admissions officer worth their salt knows exactly how tough certain exams are.

My 800s in Literature and CR demonstrated that I have outstanding reading skills and backed up my multiple years of literature study. bsd should definitely take Lit if he/she wants to do the same

Thank you, everyone.
That thread you linked me to was very useful, lolcats. And congrats on your 800s :)

I’m pretty confident on my reading skills, and I picked up CR very quickly - went from 700s to getting 1 vocab question wrong in one or two practice tests. I do want to take this test just because I think it will say something about my reading skills.
