How hard is this test without taking an AP English class? Would I be fine with a good review book? If you took it, what was your score and what review book did you use? Thanks.

hey, i have the same question..well im in ap lit...i wanted to add to the OP's question by asking about hte curve. how harsh is it?.. as in, on avg how many wrong for an 800, 750 or 700?..

Anyone have info?

i didnt take it yet but i took a practice old one recently and i think you could get like 4 wrong and still have an 800. i think 12 or so wrong was a 740. i've heard that it's not that hard of a test, provided that you are good at interpreting things

When I took it, I was only in English 11 Honors. I didn't start studying until a week before, but I went through all the practice tests in the Princeton review book, and managed to get a 760. Pay attention to the tips in that book, they helped a lot. You have to be good at interpreting, like aRk615 says, but also don't interpret TOO much because the answers are always in the readings. And you can't be terrified of poetry, either. :P
