SAT II Math Level 2?

So I have never taken any subject tests.. but I was wondering how difficult it is to study for Math level 2? I have not taken Pre-calc so is it possible to self study? what are the best books to use?
Also, what are the more easier subject tests to prepare for?

I would suggest you take Pre-Calc first before taking Math Level 2. As soon as you are done with the class you should take it (when the material will be the freshest in your mind). Math Level 2 isn’t too difficult to score well (700+) on due to the generous curve. Don’t rely on the curve though, its always good to know your stuff. Unless you can’t wait I would not self study it… better to have a teacher go through the material thoroughly.

As for easier subject tests, that completely varies from person to person. I found Math Level 2 pretty easy and did considerably well w/o too much prep. I wouldn’t be able to say the same for some of the other tests. Some might feel the opposite.

Precalc+ 1-2 weeks prep(atmost) with Barron’s should have you covered. “Ease” and “difficulty” are relative terms, so I’ll just stick to personal experience. Yes, I found the SAT subject tests to be quite easy.
