SAT II Math Level Two May 2012

holy crap so what now? two answers worked! fluke much?

maybe we can take it to court and sue collegeboard :P

LMAO yesss…

hey btw what did u guys get for z^2? -2i?

They should award us with +1 in our raw score o.o

@tiger

Yes -2i.
So 0,-2i

Does anyone know how nice of a curve this test usually has? I felt like I really missed a lot :/

yess! @tiger i got -2i. so B?

definitely. should we inform them about it?

that’ll remove that question i got wrong and back up to raw 44 :slight_smile: and then the curve will definitely be generous im guessing so by the grace of God, 800 crosses fingers

yes I put B for that one as well

-2i = B?

Sent from my SCH-I500 using CC

How do you file a complaint again?

@swoony yup :D

are you guys sure that the problem with the 2 answers discrepancy came from this problem: numbers- 4, 5, 8, 8, 12, x ?? i feel like the numbers may not be right :confused: the range had to be more than 10 right?

Range had to be less than ten.

there was definitely a double 8 right?

i think it said the range had to be less than 10

oh right, range less than 10, sorry that’s what i meant!

yup less than 10.

we have confirmed discrepancy from at least 3-4 posters…i think this merits a +1 of our raw scores…but i cannot imagine that collegeboard would do that for everyone…this ought to be interesting

there was a double 8 definitely??

I am 100% sure those were the correct numbers. The 5 numbers given added up to 37, and we had to find t…11 and 6.5 both work…

^ why not everyone?
