<p>As far as the SAT II math goes, is Math I or Math II generally "easier" in terms of material? Does one have a better curve than another? Which has more higher math (ie, precalculus and calculus.)</p>

<p>IC doesn't test as much material, and IIC has a much, much better curve. Neither have calculus, and IIC at least has precalculus.</p>

<p>If you have a solid grasp of pre-calculus, take IIC, Otherwise, take IC. If you learned it okay and understand the basics of it, many of the questions on IIC are as easy as punching in 3*sin45.</p>

<p>WHAT!!! I took IC because I was told if I haven't taken calc yet, then I won't do well at all!!</p>

<p>IIC is what everyone should be aiming for nowadays. holds much more weight now compared to IC. UC's will only be accepting IIC..and i would bet other univerisities will soon follow suit. </p>

<p>Even though IIC is harder in material, the curve is soooo lenient that IC is actually harder to get a higher score on.</p>

<p>Baron's, as usual, and actually ARCO is pretty good, too.</p>

<p>Barron's is not the best for IIC. If you do all the barron's tests, you will only be practicing about 20% of what is actuall on the real test. Get Rusen Meylani tests or Princeton Review.</p>

<p>I don't consider myself good at math and I don't pretend to have a solid grasp of Pre-Calc. It would be better to brush up on my skills and aim for a high score in IC then try to teach myself everything needed for IIC, correct?</p>

<p>aignam - yep that probably would be a better idea. You really can't take IIC without having learned Precalc. it's not extremely hard, but you have to know your Precalc . . . . Oh and if you don't want to go into engineering (or a science major at a really, really, really top university), you should be ok taking IC.</p>

<p>2C is a better choice plus you do 90% of the questions correctly and you still get 800. And you do not need to review all the nasty plane geometry stuff.</p>
