<p>i'm taking 3 AP classes this year and i took one last year and didn't do to well on it. i'm wondering if i should take 3 AP's this year or multiple SAT II's.</p>

<p>A lot of colleges require 2 or 3 SATIIs, and AP credits are always nice.</p>

<p>@synden09: Assuming you're applying to a top-notch school (most CCers are), SAT IIs are a requirement. So the question would be more like should I do APs or not? In which case the answer would be, if you're comfortable with them and you can fit in the time to do them without comprimising the quality of your other activites, then by all means go ahead. </p>
<p>However, it's inadvisable to avoid doing SAT IIs in favor of the AP. About the depth of the course, in most cases the content depth of the SAT IIs is less or at most equal to that of the AP in those topics that are common to both tests. So my answer is to definately do the SAT IIs and the APs if you can.</p>
