hey, i plan to self-study SAT II Physics with no previous physics experience whatsoever, because our physics program is really bad and i plan on being an engineer.i'm planning to bust my butt. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on which books (prep or text) to buy?

I would consider checking out AP Physics B books. The SAT2 review book provides only the most general of principles which will be covered by this test. Unfortunately I found that the sat2 asked fairly indepth questions which werent covered in my Kaplan book. Had I not taken and studied for the AP (B) test I probably would have just walked out of the test center.

I recommend the PR AP Physics B book and the Sparknotes Physics SATII book.

well from what i've heard barron overprepares you and from personal experiance mcgraw hill gives you general ideas so.... read mcgrawhill then study barrons??
