Sat ii recs

Hi,

This has probably been asked a googglion times before… but I am looking for some recommendations on book for the following sat-ii tests- I have a few books in mind already- I’m looking for more [better] AND I’d like to hear your experience preparing for the tests.

I realize that the “Real SAT II: Subject Tests” is the end-all-be-all of this matter, but I was looking for good books that actually adress each subject in detail providing good background and good practice - and challenging! :)

World History (I’ve heard good things about Barron’s “How to Prepare for the SAT II World History”)

Math Level 2 (Heard good things about Barron’s once again. psst. do you really need a Ti-89 to succeed in this or would a Ti-83+ work fine…?)

Bio E/M (Heard good things about Kaplan’s)

Chemistry

Physics

Thanks! :)

Bio - Kaplan, then PR, then Barron's (make sure you distinguish between what is needed on the SAT II and what is not. The preface tells you that this book prepares you for the Regents and other exams as well, so half the information is irrelevant!)

You don't need a TI-89 for Math 2. A TI-83+ is fine. Just be comfortable with using your calculator.

My physics teacher recommended Barron's.

Ah that's a relief. Thanks :)

Googglian? Let me guess, math is not your strong suit.

Sorry. I'm just desperately bored.

This could help:
