SAT II Scores for Stanford

Here is a student's SAT I and II:
SATI: Cr-800 Math-800 Wr-770 (essay 9), total: 2370
SATII: Math CII 780, Chemistry 750, Literature 760

As far as the standard tests are concerned, will the Chemistry 750 hurt the student if he decides to apply for Stanford? He'd like to be a pre-med major. Thanks for advices.

no.

......no.

those scores are fine for any school

nngmm and rence,

You comments are reassuring. Thanks a lot. I understand that SATII's are recommended, but not required for Stanford though everyone submits SATII scores to keep competitive.

Practically speaking, they are pretty much required, but your scores are good enough to be a competitive applicant.

DEFINITELY no. I know this because I got a 700 on the physics...and got in just fine :)

Does Stanford just look at your two highest SAT 2s, even if you have taken more? And also, I am a math/science person so is it recommended to take a humanities SAT 2 to help show I am well-rounded?

They look at your 2 highest scores. Take math II and whatever you want else. You don't need to be well-rounded, you have to be very good at something...
