SAT II scores not so attractive

Collegeboard and I are not best buds. In possibly the worst standardized testing experience of my life (loud proctor typing away at the computer directly behind me...DURING the listening section) and the kids on their 5 minute breaks yelling in the halls, I got very flustered and recieved a 660 on literature and 620 on Spanish with Listening. In addition to this, I'm just not that talented at collegeboard tests. How much will these scored lower my chances provided I have a 4.5 wgpa, a 3.9 gpa, a great, unique essay and a 2120 SAT? WHY DOES SAT EXIST!?

Although in a head to head battle for acceptance with other student who have very similar essay/SAT/GPA your SATII's may be a problem, I doubt one small dip in a otherwise fine looking list of numbers would hurt your very much.

They don't care that much about SAT II's. I know many people (including myself) that go in last year with similar or even lower SAT II's. They do care about SAT I's though and essays, so you look pretty good in that respect.

if it says anything i just got accepted to pomona and my sat was a 2060, sat ii- 720 math II, 660 US history, 620 Literature, and a 4.1 weighted gpa, 3.9 unweighted. i think who you r outside of test scores counts more than the scores alone.
