SAT ii Scores- too low?

Got a literature-580 and a U.S. History- 630. Are they too low for Princeton? Do I have a chance if I have a great sat reasoning test score and good recs?

Yes, they are too low. You ideally would want them in the 700s range. Don’t lose heart. The tests are there to be conquered.

My phone is lagging so it made a duplicate of my previous post. Disregard this one.

Yep they’re too low.

They’re too low but for US History, it’s easy to bring up! If you have the chance to take it another time, you should.

Retake in December or January (RD). Even if you have a hook (encountered obstacles/are from a lower-performing or rural school…) they will want scores in the high 600’s, and if you are unhooked, without any legitimate reason for low scores, you’ll need scores at least at the 700 level. Schools such as HYP actually weight SAT Subjects higher than SAT Reasoning because it demonstrates subject mastery.

take something yu are good in, like chem or math, try to get above 700
