Hey, I got a quick question. I am a transfer student and I recently took these tests to better my score from high school. I did a good deal better on the math portion Ic = 730, IIc = 790. However, my literature is just horrible, worse than my high school score by like 200 points!. This is mainly because I really didn't try when I took them last month, I am a Math major and I figured they wouldn't even really matter and I actually thought I would be able to send just the Math scores and not the Lit. so I really lliteraly left the test area and didn't not care about the lit. scores. But now I have found out that these tests are all or nothing, meaning you can't send each subject out individually, which is unfortunate. What should I do, should I not even bother with sending these scores? Thanks for your help.

Bump, anyone?? I really am in a bit of a jam:(

does the school you wish to transfer to require sat2s?

The school I wish to transfer does not require Sat II's but I went out of my way to take them to better my chances of getting in. I would love to show them my math scores, but i'm not sure if I can sacrifice sending these pitiful lit. scores

if it's a competitive school.. I wouldn't send anything lower than a 700

if you have good grades in math classes they should be enough to show you can do math

My grades up to this point in math (Calc. II) have been perfect. However I fear I may be on the edge with some of the schools I am applying to. With that said, is there anyway one can explain a horrendous score to the admissions office, to tell them to like not consider it into their decision?? Because I went out of my way to take these Sat II as they are not required, I mean I literaly guessed on the entire lit. test. I shouldn't even have signed up for it, but oh well.
