What should I do with these scores? They seem on the borderline.

first time SAT I: 2140
SAT II U.S. History: 700
SAT II Lit: 700

I would like to apply to UCLA, UCSD, and UCI.
I am taking the SAT I again but I am not sure how my SAT II scores will seem to the colleges. Math is not my strong subject so I am not sure if I will be taking the SAT II for that.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated :)

How's your UC GPA. With the current stats you have right now, I would say UCI is a safety and UCSD is a safe match. and UCLA is a match, but it would depend on your UC gpa

for calculating uc gpa, do you count all classes taken in 10th and 11th grade? and if you took music for 2 years do the grades for that count too? I'm going to be a senior so 1st semester grades aren't calculated yet.

You count all the academic classes. Which means usually classes like P.E, dont count. I think music counts but not sure. 1st semester senior grades isn't in UC GPA. Only academic classes in 10th through 11th grade. extra point for UC-approved honors/AP(maximum of 8 semesters)

how about classes that you took at a community college? Like, for example, I've taken Spanish and Chemistry? How do they get calculated into your UC GPA, if they do.

4.12 is great, its right on line with the average UC GPA of UC Berkeley and UCLA. It's slightly above UCSD's average. I think with the stats you have right now, You should get into UCI and UCSD for sure. But its still not guaranteed at UCLA or Berkeley, as you know, it gets more and more competitive each year. Also make sure you have good extracurricular activities. For example, maybe playing a sport, or officer of some clubs.

Yup, I understand about the extracurriculars and such.
Thanks, your advice is really helping me make decisions.
One other question, should I take those two SAT II's again?
I forgot to add that I have also taken the SAT II Chinese with an 800 (which I know isn't saying much because it seems everyone gets an 800) but I'm not sure about taking the other two again. Any suggestions?

btw, I was just wondering, this is unrelated but when I post, it says I am invisible? I'm new to CC so I'm a little bit confused about this. hehe :]

UC's take the highest 2 SAT II scores, so thats good. Since you have an 800 in chinese already, you might consider retaking Your Lit or U.S. history. But, my guess is probably Lit because history is all memorization, and i don't think you will study history this whole summer (just guessing). If your confident you can score better, then go for it. Also if you are good at math you should consider taking the math IIC test, its pretty easy to get 800 if your good at math.
