My SAT II scores were a little low (US History: 620, Math 1: 690), so I don't know if I should submit them with my application. My other academic stats: 32 ACT, 4.31 GPA, Top 20 rank out of 340 students. What should I do? Will submitting my SAT II scores hurt my chance of admission, even though they are optional? Thanks!!

are u in-state? if u are i dont think it will matter too much, but i took world history and got around 630 and math level 1 and got a 650....I submitted both those I think and I got in. can i see full stats to let u know?

Thanks for the help ns, I appreciate it!

My thought would be that if they don't require them, and if you are afraid they are going to hurt your chances, then certainly don't submit them. If you thought they might help your chances, then certainly you would want to submit them.

You can always submit them after you get accepted if you want them to use them for placement, which is the only thing I believe they do use them for.

I don't think sending them will help because they are not particularly stellar. However, sending them wouldn't hurt either. Sorry to be so useless, but I think it is not a significant matter IMO...anyhow, based on stats you are in between a reach/match. But then again your essays and application matter A LOT, so hopefully u did good on that.

Best of luck and keep hope alive.

It will not count against you. SAT II scores are not required.

I wouldn't send a 600s score in Math I....
