GOOD IDEA to send in SAT II or is it fine if I tell collegeboard not to? I think I did horribly in my SAT IIs...I'm hoping that if my scores turn out well, I can maybe tell collegeboard to send them in and hope that it would make it early over to UNC.

I know I didn't do well. I didn't get to finish any of my tests...If I decide to not send the scores in I'll have 0 SAT II scores reported. I'm already hanging on the edge with my SAT scores...I'm guessing that if my performance is really bad in the SAT IIs, they could really bring down my impression; especially since I did an essay on the subject i took the test on.. YIKES!
Would AP scores be a viable substitute if I don't send SAT ii subject scores??

Please share your honest opinions (it kindda seems like a common sense answer but at the same time, I would like to confirm my doubts here).
By the way, I'm First deadline.

I think you’re worrying too much. Carolina doesn’t require subject tests or AP tests, so having bad scores on either won’t really hurt you. If you really think you did bad then don’t send in your scores, but at least wait and see how you did before deciding not to send them.

Well the thing is that I took my subject tests on Nov 1st…so those scores will go directly to UNC w/o allowing me the time to pick and choose the scores. Personally, I felt I didn’t have enough time answering the questions…so this is why I’m a bit disappointed with my performance. I know they don’t require things aside from the SAT, but let’s say the scores for the subject test come out horrible…then wouldn’t that just ruin my chances; despite whether they fact those things in or not. It definitely does form a bit of a problem if my subject test scores don’t match up with my class grades.

UNC doesn’t admit test scores, they admit people. Now, if you’re scores are low and the rest of your application isn’t good, then they might reject you, but the test scores alone won’t ruin your chances IMO. Especially since they’re not required.

^ I hope so. Thanks :)
