SAT II Spanish: Need Information!!!

I plan to take SAT II Spanish in May. I just ordered a Barron's book, and right now i have a Kaplan book. I just wanted to know how easy it is to get 800 (like how many questions u need right or w/e), and how to best prepare, or what other book i might need. Thanks

it's not that easy to get an 800, i've tried and come up short twice (770 listening, 790 reading)...the hardest part is vocabulary, i think. since my spanish course mostly covers literature, i'm starting to lose everyday vocabulary like agacharse= crouch down, bend down. try to study words, that's my rec.

i didn't think the spanish was that hard. It was my lowest SAT II score (760) but I had only taken 2.5 years of spanish going into it, with only one of those years being one in which i learned anything. (this in contrast to us history where i studied my butt off the entire year but still only got a 790.) i agree with encomium that the vocab is the big clincher; if you don't know the words, you aren't going to do well. I used the Barron's book too and always pretty much scored in the middle (77 or 78 raw score) of the 750-800 range, so your practice tests should be pretty much on the money if you're anything like me.
