<p>Did anyone else take this test in May, or any time this year for that matter? Just curious what the normal score was, if you thought the test was difficult, etc.</p>
<p>I took it in May; got the scores earlier today. Honestly, I took the test while preparing for the AP Spanish test, and I found it to be very easy. Some of the vocab/grammar is very hit or miss (eg you will just have to happen to know a word like… to freeze or something like that). The reading wasn’t very difficult, especially if you’re at the AP level or so. </p>
<p>I’m not a native speaker, have been studying since 5th grade though (about 6 years) and I got a 790. I was ecstatic! I was expecting lower because of the tough curve due to native speakers, but I guess if you work hard it’s possible to do well.</p>
<p>Exactly! I thought it was ridiculously easy. I’m not native, I’ve only been studying for 3 years, and I got an 800. I’m taking a very rigorous program though for Spanish - IB Language A2 - so I think that is what helped me.</p>
