have any nonnative speakers taken it? how hard is it? whats the curve like? i have taken spanish for 3 years at high school and i dont know if i should take it or not? any advice or good prep books for it?

Non-native speakers take it all the time! There are plenty of prep books around. You should decide if you want to take it with or without listening. They are different tests. With listening is harder in some ways, and is only given in November. I may be wrong, but I believe without listening is given when all the other tests are given-- but I haven't checked that recently.

SAT II in language is used for placement or placing out of a requirement. It is a pretty hard test, and unless you need three SAT IIs, then maybe think hard about it. Three years in HS might just be enough, depending on how well-prepared you feel you are, and how you did in the courses.

A lot of non native speakers take it. It depends how good you are at it and if you truly understand the language. However, if you have other subjects that you're better at, you should take those.
The curve is horrible though because native speakers usually score around the 700 mark. Usually you can miss 2-4 to get an 800.

i thought it was easy as hell and i've only taken 4 years of language. the questions are like
