IIRC, the Northwest Ordinance defined the conditions under which new States would be admitted to the Union.

okay so i guess

missouri, compromise of 1850 and etc

can be accepted as statehood too?

The use of the assembly line to manufacture automobiles by Henry Ford had resulted in which by 1930?
A) Working class people could borrow half the amount needed to buy a car.
B) Average American families could purchase a car for less than $1000.

Okay, so B is the answer – but I need to find a way to argue that A is the answer. Can anyone help?

Also…

1925 Scopes “Monkey Trial” pitted religious conservatives against:
A) Supreme Court, which ruled that the teaching of evolution was unconstitutional in American Schooling.
B) Liberals who believed that Darwinism should be taught in the school curriculum.

Once again, the answer is B but I need a way to argue that A is the answer…

Can anyone help?

I don’t see how you could possibly argue A is the answer the question 2. Why are you trying to anyways?

It’s for my grade, lol. If I can argue three questions on my teacher’s test that my answer was right, I can bring my entire grade up by a point (since the test’s value is really high) so yeah, lol.

And yeah, if it’s blatantly wrong, then obviously I can’t argue it. I was just wondering about those two… I think you can argue the first one – just the whole credit, installment plan thing…

Ok I studied some of you guy’s questions, and from what I can tell, there are passage questions?

What are those like? Do they give you a passage and ask what aspect of history is covered?

They may give you a short passage and ask you to identify who might have written/said it. Or they may ask what event or what idea it’s referring to. Usually it’s pretty obvious.

what is something like 20 wrong?
Im really worried

Sorry for bumping this thread back up, but I looked over this and it seems like I’ve missed 10 or so. What do you think that score will be?

the test was hella easy. i need to retake cuz i fell asleep for a while and ran out of time to answer 10 questions. i knew i shouldnt have signed up for this date. i didnt even study a single thing and to make things worst, i had a track meet and didnt get home till 3 in the morning… is a 690 consider bad?

so… um… if i think i’m close to an 800 on this one, am i a narcissistic arrogant idiot who is lying to myself (aka too over confident)? or is it possible? it just freaks me out that so many people here on cc are worried about low scores on this one, because i consider myself at the mid-range of ccers (not at the top) but think i did really well on this one. :(

Sorry, this one won’t work. Here’s why: the religious conservatives wanted evolution to be unconstitutional. If the Supreme Court “ruled that the teaching of evolution was unconstitutional in American Schooling” then the Supreme Court wouldn’t be “pitted against” the religious conservatives, since they’re on the same side!
