^had it for math, need about 15 for physics, and ALMOST DONE here!!

^me too...inheritance laws sounded wayy too specific...and i dont think they had inheritance laws in the first place, more like inheritance traditions..u kno the primogeniture stuff

Let's just stop arguing about the answer.
If you google french indian war, the starting date is 1754.
if you google seven years war, the starting date is 1756.
last time i checked, 1756 is two years after 1754.
last time i checked, french and indian war started in US.
hence, according to some complicated mathematics proof property, because 1754 is before 1756 and because french and indian war started in north america, the answer North America can be the correct answer whereas europe can not.

Salutary (benign) neglect was an undocumented, though long-standing, British policy of avoiding strict enforcement of parliamentary laws meant to keep the American colonies obedient to Great Britain. Prime Minister Robert Walpole stated that "if no restrictions were placed on the colonies, they would flourish"[citation needed]. This policy, which lasted from about 1607 to 1763, allowed the enforcement of trade relations laws to be lenient.

The question said before 1763, which was salutary neglect. Trade restirctions were not enforced then.

does anyone remember the question about women christian temperance organization or something??

yeah it was to convince women of their moral responsibility to help out society

but i think the answer WAS inheritance laws. it asked what effected the colonists, which clearly was not trade restr. if they weren't even enforced

does anybody remember the actual question for the economic explanation for the civil war?

yeah, it asked why it was successful

i think the answer was something about how they appealed to the moral conscience of women who wanted to better society

economic explanation for civil war..."which of the following best describes an economic interpretation for the causes of the civil war"

oh yea the women christian temperance (in the late 19th century and early 20th) one had options:

allied themselves w/ labor unions
gained support through 3rd party something
convinced many women about moral duty
failed because they spread themselves over many subjects (or something)

I think the correct answer was aligned w/ 3rd parties but I dunno...

and i still think it was inheritance laws...those were pretty influential in society. especially becasue colonial legislatures were partially based on class/status/etc.

and we talked about this sooo much in apus. trust meeeee, it cant be anything due to economy because of the period of salutary neglect. they used 1763 specifically for that reason

I think the question asked.."Which best describes British policy towards the colonists before 1763"...and they DID have trade restrictions, even though they werent heavily enforced..but nonetheless it was a policy. I never even heard about Inheritance laws or anything like that, so that could be a better answer, but I put Trade Restrictions.

haha whatever. what's a usual curve? HELP!

what do you think the curve is going to be for an 800?

WCTU -

"In addition to campaigning against alcohol, the WCTU addressed social ills stemming from drunkenness and domestic violence. It also campaigned for reforms that would improve the status of women in society, such as the right to vote. The WCTU was a major force in Prohibition-and was also influential in creating laws banning prostitution and recreational drugs in the United States."
