10->there was something like religious prosecution, land, ministers getting taken out of anglican pulpit, religious education...

so what is the general consensus about the great awakening one? Religious upheaval or public response to enlightenment?

anyone know what a 76 raw is?

probably like a 770ish

for the great awakening, I put religious upheaval...I believed the Second Great Awakening was more of the enlightenment response. This list here says religious upheaval. IMO it was a bad question, I was torn for a couple of seconds when taking the test between the two. of course i hope its the one I put down but they both make logical sense.

I put religious upheaval too...urgh...i hated that test (it was my first one and i was still half asleep)...i took three and i really hope colleges will just ignore the history grade :(

But who knows, maybe I did better than I thought?? (optimism sometimes helps...right;))

"The Great Awakenings refer to several periods of dramatic religious revival in Anglo-American religious history..."

-wikipedia

circumstances aside, it was a religious revival first and foremost. i can't imagine that religious revival wasn't the correct answer.

Yeah, it was at the start of the test, so I trust that it was supposed to be an "easy" question...lols, hopefully religious revival was the answer...

lol, what was the wording of "religious upheaval" was it the one with "all the colonies" in it

Something like "evangelical religious movement affecting most of the colonies"

ah i think thats it lol

with regard to the legality of these proceedings -- CCers have done the exact same thing for every SAT I and II that have occurred since i joined, and i haven't heard of any black-suited men knocking on doors.

Actually, that happened to me just yesterday. Lols, just joking! ;)

how many raw points can you get before you drop down from 800? on sparknotes it says 9, but someone in the thread early on said 12.
