My college requires me to pass an american history and institutions requirement and one of the ways is getting a score of 500 (usually 21-23 percentile :D) or more on the SAT II US history.

Also, I have no clue about American history whatsoever. I went to a British school all my life so I do not know ANYTHING about US history

So I was wondering, would Sparknotes ALONE get the job done?

That depends. Different people seem to have different ways of learning. If I were you, I would try to find other resources in addition to Sparknotes to study in case some of the stuff on Sparknotes doesn’t make sense. You could buy some study aids (like the Princeton Review or Kaplan or Barron’s test prep books) if you are willing to spend some money (or borrow one of these from a friend or at a library).
