SAT II World History questions

Hi, I'm a junior in in high school and plan on take SAT IIs in May and June. However, I was wondering about the SAT II World History. I'm not really clear on the test. Should you only take if you took AP world history or can you take it with outside studying plus the normal world history class everyone takes in high school?

If it's recommended you take the AP world history course, then is there any point in taking the SAT 2 world history in senior year since I'm taking ap world in my senior year?

I’m considering taking the World History in addition to U.S. history for the subject tests. I’d ask if you feel you know a lot about world history. You could even look on the college board for sample questions. I did take an honors world history course, but that was freshman year. Honestly I’d say just go with what you know right now. Definitely study, though.

Yeah, You should REALLY study. I have asked some kids in my school and they say the exam (the SAT 2) is def. challenging, so be prepared!

I’m self-studying AP World History this year (took WH Honor’s as a freshman). A lot of it WH, in my opinion, is just general knowledge and being to reason with general knowledge. I suggest you pick up a prep book and read it through. You can definitely do it without the AP course, but it just comes down to discipline and being able to drill down and actually study.

I am registered for the World History SAT Subject Test for June 4th myself.
