SAT II - WORLD HISTORY ????????

I’ve been self-studying World history using 3 books

  1. Barron’s World History 2013 -Marilynn Hitchens and Hedi Roupp (5th edition)
  2. Barron’s World History 2015 - William Melega (1st edition)
  3. Holt (I don’t use this unless I need further explanation or what not)

How do you recommend I study for the WH test?
Which of the 2 Barron’s book is easier/ more reliable to study from?
Should I try studying the 2 Barron’s book at the same time like hand in hand?
I’m taking the test this June and December but I still want a high score on the June test even though I have enough time to study for the December test.
Tips and advice please since I have 2 of the latest Barron’s WH books.

Focus on geography - a student atlas, or an historical atlas would be very helpful here. After that, you need to know something about the Chinese dynasties, understand an overview of the Muslim Empire, and an overview of ancient Greece and Rome. There can be very specific questions on European history, but you probably don’t have time to absorb Kagan’s Western Heritage. Focus on European geography and historical geography, and don’t try to learn about every pope, war and cultural movement. It’s too much for a short time period.

So, I wouldn’t be able to score high even for the December test? Like would 4 months be enough to prepare for the December test?
