SAT II's...have to pertain to my major?

If I apply to NYU stern for economics...do I have to take a math SAT subject test or something that deals with my major? What if, say, I took the SAT subject test in Biology and World History and scored very high, would that still lower my chances of getting accepted into a business school (since those subjects have very little or nothing to do with business)?

How do you take these subject tests? How do you know what subjects to send to the schools you apply to?

ok listen, if your applying to Stern, you need a 700+ on the math section of the SAT reasoning test in order to be safely exemted from the SATII math... either way, i would suggest you take Math on the SATII... and you need to score pretty high too.

they don't microanalyze your subjects.

however, a strong math background is required and a good score on the math 2 exam shows that you have a strong math background.
