Hey everyone,

I was wondering if this coming October whether I should be focusing on my SAT II's or my SAT I currently have a 2280 on my SAT (3 760s), but did not do as well on my previous two sbject tests, getting a 710 on US History, and a 690 on Literature. I have heard that subject tests hold little weight in the admissions process, and that Ivys are more or less looking for anything above 700, so long as you have the other criteria. I am not really considering an Ivy, but currently I am looking at applying to a range of schools. Probably my top choices are going to be Georgetown and Northwestern, and I'll probably apply to an Ivy as well, but I am much more likely to be attending a lower tiered school, like TCNJ, American, or Villanova come 2014, as I am looking for Merit Aid, as I am planning on going to law school and your undergrad school does not really matter so long as its good. With all of this said, should I be taking SAT II tests come October, or focus on improving my SAT score?

Thanks in advance.

Edit: I am also taking 3 Subject tests on Saturday June 2. What should these be with tentative majors of Pre-Law, Poly Sci, or English? Should I be taking new Subject tests or be improving US H and Lit?
