Sat IIs- Public Michigan schools.

Would it be worth it to take some SAT IIS to bolster a "B-" G.p.a.? I am pretty sure that I can score 650-700+ on them if I studied a bit.

Schools would be Michigan or Michigan State, or Western Michigan.

30 act 33cr 31s 25e 29m 10w
1920 sat 690m 600cr 630w
Both unprepped.

I am just asking as I am preparing to take Calc 1 at a local community college, and the admission officer did not look at my Sat math scores as it was at the same level as/better than my Act scores. I am just wondering if it would be a waste to take SAT IIs or just retake the SAT for the 3rd time an prep a bit.

Mich St and West Mich won’t consider SAT IIs for admission. Mich “considers” SAT IIs if submitted so they may help there.

What is a B- GPA converted to 4.0 scale? No, SAT II’s are not worth your time. Your ACT score is very good but I don’t know if a B- GPA would get you in.

I’m a Michigander too…but I don’t know how much its public schools care about the SAT. I thought it was pretty ACT oriented, and your ACT score is good. I guess good SAT II’s might be a little boost if you’re looking at Ann Arbor.
