SAT IIs?

Howdy. Is it true that SAT IIs are supposed to be somewhat similar to the math/verbal on SAT I?

I've not taken the SAT I, but I took some practice tests and scored around a 1520 or 1540. Now, on the ACT, I got a composite 31, which isn't really that good...my math was 29 and English was 34.

However, when I took the SAT IIs I scored 800 on Writing and 680 on the Math IIc.

Can anybody help me out with this? Or am I just dumb?

Have you taken the actual tests?

Howdy,

SAT2s are not really similar to SAT1. Doing well on the math and verbal parts of SAT1 doesn't mean you'll also do well on SAT2 Writing and Math2C, and vice versa.

Right ... the SAT I tests reasoning and the SAT II tests knowledge, I guess you could say.

Just study some for the SAT math IIC, and you'll do fine.

Thanks. I'm from the Midwest and don't know all this College Board junk.
