SAT II's

Just checking how many and which ones future Harvard hopefuls are taking.

As for me...

Math IC
Biology
Chemistry
US History
Math IIC (maybe)

P.S. I heard that Harvard and other top colleges recommend Math IIC over Math IC. Is that true?

I took Math IC. You're supposed to take the one you think you'll do better in.

My other stats can be found elsewhere in the forum. Admitted @ Penn, Yale; Waitlisted @ Harvard; Rejected @ Princeton

I did Writing, Lit, and IC, and I got in.

I never took IC, but I heard it's easier to get a higher score on the IIC. The curve bounces you up. I took Math IIC, Writing, Lit, Physics, and Chemistry, and I got rejected from H.

jwlee, did u send in all those scores to the school?

You will probably get similar scores in IC and IIC, but of course, IIC is more prestigious. The questions you need to get right for a 700 in IIC is ALOT less than in IC. If I could find my review book, I would provide numbers, but alas I cannot.

I'm probably going to take Literature, Spanish, Bio (haven't decided E or M yet), and Japanese in October and November
